Why this work

Camilla’s connection to this work started early. She spent much of her childhood and adolescence traveling and volunteering in Kenya with her mother, an OB-GYN, through a small NGO. Those experiences gave her an early understanding of community-based public health work, especially efforts centered on women’s and girls’ health and education. They also showed her that caring well for communities means caring well for the people doing the caring.

Because her mother ran her own practice, Camilla saw firsthand how much a strong practice depends on the people and systems behind the scenes, from an efficient office manager to trusted nurses and the staff who keep everything moving. She saw how much healthcare workers carry and how easy it is for burnout to take hold when people are asked to keep giving without enough support. That perspective still shapes her work today. Camilla helps physician groups build clearer systems, stronger teams, and healthier ways of working so the people holding the practice together are supported and patients experience the difference too.
